Difference between ancient modern and recent communication

Human beings have been communicating for a long time.

As early as ancient times, people exchanged information through simple language, murals and other means. For thousands of years, people have been using language, charts and symbols, bells and drums, smoke and fire, bamboo slips, paper books and so on to pass on information, and the beacons and wolves, pigeons and post horses of the ancient people are examples of this. There are still individual primitive tribes in some countries that still retain such ancient methods of communication as beating drums and sounding horns.

In modern society, the sign language used by traffic police and the semaphore used in navigation are just the result of the further development of ancient communication methods. These basic methods of transmitting information rely on the human sense of sight and hearing.

Modern communication methods are much more, the most common wired/radio communication, laser communication, network communication. 19th century, with the telegraph, telephone, the discovery of electromagnetic waves, human communication field has produced a fundamental change, realized the use of metal wires to transfer information, and even through the electromagnetic wave to carry out wireless communication, so that the mythical "smooth ear" and "windy ear", and so on. Difference: modern communication is far more advanced and reliable than the ancient one, and it is much more common, and people are in close contact with each other, unlike the ancient one, which was mostly used by the state or the army.
