What is ramie and what fabric is ramie?
1. Ramie is a subshrub or shrub plant of the genus Ramie in Urticaceae. Nicknames: wild ramie (Guangdong, Guizhou, Hunan, Hubei and Anhui), wild ramie (Guizhou, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Hubei, Henan, Shaanxi and Gansu), domestic ramie (Jiangxi), ramie (Taiwan Province Province), green ramie (Guangxi and Hubei) and white ramie (Guangxi).
