What continent is Russia?

Russia belongs to European countries.

Although Russia occupies 3/4 of the whole Russian area in Asia, due to the cold weather, there are not many people living there, and the population only accounts for 1/4 of the whole Russia. The European part of Russia is concentrated in economically, culturally and politically developed areas, accounting for nearly 3/4 of the country's total population. Their ethnic origin is also in Europe, which retains European cultural traditions, so it belongs to European countries.

When calculating the area of Europe, only the European part of Russia is added (the area of the European part of Russia accounts for about 1/4 of the total land area).

When calculating the area of Asia, the Asian part of Russia is added (the European part of Russia accounts for about 3/4 of the total land area).
