How many ethnic minorities are there in Qinghai?

The ethnic minorities living in Qinghai mainly include Tibetan, Hui, Tu, Salar and Mongolian, among which Tu and Salar are unique to Qinghai.

All the five ethnic minority areas have implemented regional autonomy, and six autonomous prefectures and seven autonomous counties have been established successively.

The Tu people mainly live in Huzhu Tu Autonomous County in Qinghai. Minhe and Datong counties in Qinghai and Tianzhu Tibetan Autonomous County in Gansu are also concentrated, while the rest are scattered in Ledu, Menyuan, Dulan, Wulan, Guide, * * * * and Xining in Qinghai and Zhuoni, Yongdeng and Sunan in Gansu.
