Both pieces of material have defects, the thick one has a big long crack, the long one has a big head in the narrow direction, and there are many small cracks on one side, both of which need to be "cut". My frame saw saw is very wide, and the material is not big, so I saw big teeth with a double-sided knife and stubble quickly. I broke the thick material at the big crack and the big head and small head of the long material.
Then the gauge side, which is very important. If the gauge is not square, the back will be irregular. Because the material is not big, I use two planers directly and file the two gauges with a file to avoid scratching the end corners.
The dimensions after square gauge are: 1, long material 212x50x15 mm; 2. Thick material 164X47X 18mm.
I began to draw lines. As this is the first time, I know nothing about Luban stool. I made a universal one first. According to Xin Quansheng's post of 20 1 1, the processing started, but it was not completely followed, and there were some changes. The first step is to open a big slot between the stool surfaces, and use the fine teeth of the double-sided saw to open a lot of saws in the middle, so that it is easy to choose materials. Pick up the waste with a chisel first, then level it with a flat shovel, and finally clean up the roots with a chisel before use.
Then I cut the stool surface. I bought three kinds of small hand saws before. One is very cheap, the other is very expensive, and it looks very good. The third one can hold iron saw blades. I have tried all three, and the cheapest one is the best, but the saw path is the widest and the saw handle can be moved. The more expensive one is better, but some saws are medium, the iron saw blade is the slowest, but the saw path is the narrowest.
Then I opened the stool surface, and my frame saw saw the road too wide. This small stool doesn't work, so I want to use a back saw to make it more straight. But after measuring it, I couldn't see the bottom, so I had to saw my big teeth with a double-sided knife. Fortunately, it broke smoothly.
After the break, the saw surface is planed flat, and the planer is too small to use. File it directly with a wooden file, mark it twice, then chisel it, and then saw off both legs with a small hand saw.
Finally, it stands up, followed by endless polishing. From 120 mesh to 200 mesh, 1000 mesh and 2000 mesh have not changed, and it feels good, and I have never played a higher mesh.
Wax after polishing, wax three times at a time, and finally polish with a dry cloth.
Two problems were found in the production process:
1, it should be divided into 7 equal parts, and I made 5 equal parts. It's fun. It doesn't matter.
2. I was going to put my mobile phone, but it was a little small after I finished it. So I didn't make the second one, so I found a piece of material that can hold my mobile phone and made another one later.
