From which famous folk music in China is "Moonlit Night on the Spring River" adapted?

Moonlit Night on the Spring River is a famous song in Chinese classical music and a classic in Chinese classical music. Its predecessor is a famous pipa solo, formerly known as "Sunset Flute Drum". The title of Sunset Flute and Drum can be found in Yao Xie's (1805- 1864) modern music textual research. The score of this folk music pipa "Moonlit Night on a Spring River" was first seen in the pipa score of "Idle Narration" passed by Ju Shilin (about 1736- 1820). What we are seeing now are the manuscripts of his disciple Xian Fenggeng (1860), The True Biography of the Pipa of the North and South School in the first year of Jiaqing (18 19), The Collection of Grass Exploration in Songjiang, Jiangsu and the manuscripts of Guangxu (1842). The song "Sunset Flute and Drum" in "Chen Pipa Music Manuscript" once listed seven subheadings: "Returning to the sky, facing the moon, facing the water, climbing mountains, screaming, watching the night and returning to the boat". According to this article, in the Records of Chongming County, Jiangsu Province, there is a record of Song Heng's "self-innovation as a" sunset flute and drum "during the Xianfeng period of Qing Dynasty.

1895, Li Fangyuan, a pipa player of Pinghu school, included this song in the New Pipa Spectrum of Nanbei School 13 Daqu (Gongchi Spectrum) and renamed it Xunyang Pipa. Li Fangyuan's Pipa in Xunyang has ten sub-titles, such as "the flute and drum at sunset, flowers scattered around the wind, near the moon mountain, sunset near the mountain, autumn sound of maple leaves, Chihiro in Wuxia, flute in mangroves, night view by the river, fishing boats singing late, and returning to the boat at dusk". 1923, Shanghai "Datong Music Club" (founded in 1920), Liu and Liu adapted the pipa solo score "Xunyang Moonlit Night" into a variety of national musical instruments ensemble, and the song title was also easier to be "Moonlit Night on a Spring River". The subtitle of this song is different from that proposed by Li Fangyuan: "Bells and drums at the bottom of the river, Dongshan on the moon, the wind returning to Qushui, the flower shadow platform, the water depth is cloudy, the fisherman sings late, the waves beat on the shore, and the sound is far away, which is the tail of the boat."
