What problems should be paid attention to in the preparation of hydrogel?

Problems that should be paid attention to in the preparation of hydrogel;

Dissolving natural polymer or its derivatives and pharmaceutical active ingredients in water respectively, slowly pouring the two solutions into different molds until the thickness of the solution is 0.5mm, placing the molds in an oxygen-free environment, and irradiating with electron beams or gamma rays, so that the aqueous solution of natural polymer or its derivatives becomes hydrogel of natural polymer or its derivatives.

In a sterile environment, the irradiated natural polymer or its derivative hydrogel is placed in the aqueous solution of the pharmaceutical active ingredient until the aqueous solution is completely absorbed by the hydrogel to obtain the product.

Formation principle

All water-soluble or hydrophilic polymers can form hydrogels through certain chemical or physical crosslinking. These polymers can be divided into natural and synthetic types according to their sources. Natural hydrophilic polymers include polysaccharides (starch, cellulose, alginic acid, hyaluronic acid, chitosan, etc. ) and polypeptides (collagen, poly L- lysine, poly L- glutamine, etc. ). Synthetic hydrophilic polymers include alcohol, acrylic acid and their derivatives (polyacrylic acid, polymethacrylic acid, polyacrylamide, poly-N- polyacrylamide, etc. ).
