How to determine whether stamping parts should be measured by three coordinates

Because the tolerance range of sheet metal parts is relatively loose, it is generally not necessary to measure the upper coordinates, and relatively simple shapes can be measured by template shape comparison or fixture.

If the test result of the template/fixture is unqualified, it needs to be rechecked in three coordinates and the error value is measured, so as to adjust/repair the mold. Sheet metal parts with complex shapes may also need measuring fixtures to assist in positioning.
