What should I use to break limestone?

When limestone is broken into stones, core equipment is generally needed: jaw crusher and impact crusher; Supporting equipment: feeder, vibrating screen, conveyor belt. Limestone grinding adopts the equipment of grinding before crushing and then grinding.

I. Application fields and market distribution:

According to the use of limestone raw materials, it can be roughly divided into:

1, sand and gravel, as building aggregate: generally processed to 1-4cm.

2, production of active lime, pure lime, used in cement industry, metallurgical desulfurization and dephosphorization agent.

3. Chemical powder is used in papermaking, rubber, plastics, coatings, paints and inks. The product price depends on the product granularity, whiteness and surface treatment, and the price difference is about ten times.

4. The manufactured sand of limestone casting is 28-75 mesh, which has good collapsibility and the surface of the casting is smoother than quartz sand.

The processing granularity of desulfurization gypsum production line is generally 0-2mm.

Second, there are three main processing technologies for limestone:

(1). Sand and gravel;

Building aggregate: generally processed into 1-2cm.

Produce stones; Feeder-crusher-conveyor belt-sand washer, used as sand aggregate.

Making molding sand: The granularity of foundry sand produced by limestone is 28 ~ 75 mesh. The performance of this molding sand is better than quartz sand, with good collapsibility, easy sand falling and cleaning, improving the surface quality of castings and increasing the surface smoothness of castings.

(2) production of quicklime: (limestone-> calcination (rotary kiln)->; Calcium oxide (usually massive after calcination))

Process flow of lime production in rotary kiln;

(1) limestone → vibrating feeder → belt conveyor, lifted from raw material bin to screening equipment, limestone with appropriate granularity enters preheater, the kiln tail is preheated at the high temperature of 1000℃, and 20%-25% limestone is decomposed and pushed into rotary kiln.

⑵ It was further calcined in a rotary kiln and completely decomposed at 1300℃.

(3) When entering the cooler, the temperature is 1 100℃, and the lime is cooled to 70- 100℃ by the blower at the bottom of the cooler.

Then it is discharged to the conveyor by the vibrating feeder at the lower part of the cooler, and then sent to the finished product warehouse through conveying, screening and lifting equipment, which is the final active lime product.

Limestone has two processes: dry grinding and wet grinding. Limestone can be ground and used widely.
