What does the level of S.M. in Paralympic Games stand for?

Swimmers participating in the Paralympic Games are physically disabled or blind athletes, and their functions are graded through medical evaluation and underwater test before the game.

As the symbol of freestyle, backstroke and butterfly, "S" is divided into S1-S10 * * *10 according to the degree of physical disability; "SB" stands for breaststroke, which is divided into 9 grades: SB1-SB9 * * *; "M" stands for medley, and * * has SM1-SM10 * * *10. Blind athletes are divided into s, SB or SM 1 1, 12, 13 according to the degree of visual impairment and swimming style.

Paralympic Games
