What is the category of traditional thinking?

The concept of "culture" in ancient China basically belonged to the category of (spiritual civilization).

Ancient Chinese culture is the material and spiritual wealth created by the ancestors of the Chinese nation in the process of transforming nature and developing themselves. It embodies the knowledge and perception of life, society and nature, and is full of wisdom; it embodies the psychological characteristics, cultural traditions, spirituality and values of the Chinese nation.

Concentrated in the five-thousand-year civilization history of the Chinese nation, embedded in the ancient culture of the canonical books, embodied in the thoughts and actions of the ancient people of benevolence. The ideology of the unity of heaven and man, the unity and wholeness of nature and society; the spirit of benevolence and forgiveness, and the spirit of virtue; the character cultivation of respect for integrity; the honesty of being generous and trustworthy, and faithful to one's duty; the value of the supremacy of the national interest; the heroism of giving up one's life for the sake of righteousness, and the heroism of sacrificing oneself; the filial tradition of respecting the old and loving the young and honoring one's parents; and the industriousness and thriftiness.

Spiritual civilization is the sum of spiritual achievements made by human beings in the process of transforming the objective and subjective worlds, and it is the state of progress of human wisdom and morality.
