Who created peacock dance?

Peacock dance was written by Yang li Ping. With her superb dancing skills and unique performances, she became a legend in the dance circle of China. She deeply explored the essence of China traditional culture, combined peacock image with dance, and created a unique peacock dance.

Peacock dance is the most famous traditional performing dance among the Dai folk dances in China, which is distributed in Ruili, mangshi, Xishuangbanna, Mengding, Menglian, Jinggu, Cangyuan and other Dai inhabited areas in Dehong Prefecture, Yunnan Province, among which peacock dance (Dai language "Galoyong") in Ruili City, western Yunnan Province is the most representative.

2. Linzhi peacock dance

Linzhi peacock dance originated in Zhaxi Raodeng Township, Milin County, Linzhi Prefecture, and spread in Milin County and Zhaxi Raodeng Township. Peacock dance of Linzhi often sings and dances by himself without musical instruments. There are many forms such as solo dance, duet dance, threesome dance and group dance, which can be used by both men and women. Group dancing is a big circle formation, basically jumping in the same place, sometimes moving clockwise.
