Where is the location of Yuhe Vinegar Culture Museum

As an early folk museum, the "old Chinese brand" Yuhe Vinegar Museum opened in 2010, located in Pozi Street near the mouth of Xiangjiang River. Inside the museum, there is a collection of vinegar-making tools with a hundred years of history. From the century-old vinegar barrels and rice baskets to the windmill used for raw material processing of Yuhe Vinegar in the Republican period; from the iron pot used for stir-frying rice color to the mortar and pestle, people can enjoy the history of vinegar culture. Yuhe Vinegar and Yuhe Sauce Garden

When the company was first set up, founder Dong Yuhe produced vinegar as well as soy sauce and wine, collectively known as Yuhe Sauce Garden, with the wine and soy sauce far less famous than the vinegar. 2009, the company put some of the old vessels on display on the former site of the Yuhe Sauce Garden, and established the Yuhe Vinegar Culture Museum. museum.

In 1649, in the sixth year of the Shunzhi period of the Qing Dynasty, the master brewer of Jiangsu Province, Mr. Dong Yuhe, came to Changsha to open the "Yuhe Sauce Garden", which was originally located at the Xiaoximen Gate of Changsha's ancient city, and is now known as the "Yuhe Garden Alley" in Changsha, hence the name of the garden.

In 1956, the public-private partnership, Yuhe and six other seasoning enterprises were organized into Hunan Shuangfeng Industrial Co.

Yuhe's factory was moved from Pozi Street to Guitang in 1997, and the site was moved from Guitang to Hamuli around 2003. During that time, the original site was rented out and became a cloth market, until it was taken back by the company in 2008 when it was preparing for the construction of the Yuhe Vinegar Culture Museum.

In 2009, Jade and Brewing Co. Ltd. invested 150,000 yuan in the old site of Jade and Sauce Garden to display some of the old utensils and put the relevant information on display to establish the Jade and Vinegar Culture Museum.
