Identification and treatment of lung cancer, how Chinese medicine carries out the treatment of lung cancer

Based on the pathological mechanism of lung cancer, according to the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine, lung cancer is divided into 4 common clinical patterns of lung cancer, namely, lung depression and phlegm-heat, phlegm-dampness with deficiency of qi, phlegm-heat with deficiency of yin and qi and yin. The diagnostic and therapeutic methods of lung cancer are described as follows.

1. Lung depression and phlegm-heat syndrome

Impetent cough, blood in sputum, chest pain or chest tightness and shortness of breath, dry lips and dry mouth, constipation, red or dark red tongue, yellow moss, stringy or thin pulse. This syndrome is characterized by lung qi cardia, blood stasis and phlegm congestion. The treatment is to promote lung qi, resolve blood stasis and remove phlegm.

2. Qi deficiency and phlegm-dampness

Cough and phlegm, chest tightness and shortness of breath, less breath and laziness, dullness and lethargy, abdominal distension and loose stools. The tongue is pale or reddish with teeth marks on the sides, the moss is white and greasy, and the pulse is moist or slippery. The syndrome is characterized by weakness of lung qi, child's disease and mother's disease, loss of healthy transportation of spleen, and internal obstruction of phlegm-dampness. The treatment is to tonify the qi and strengthen the spleen, and to remove phlegm and disperse knots.

3. Yin deficiency and phlegm-heat type

Cough with little sputum, or dry cough, dry throat, or sputum with blood, chest fullness and shortness of breath, hot flashes and night sweats, dizziness, tinnitus, heartburn and dry mouth, yellow urine, dry stools. The tongue is reddish-red, the moss is light and flaky or the tongue is light and mossless, and the pulse is stringy and weak. This is a deficiency of lung and kidney yin, phlegm and heat, the treatment should nourish the kidney and clear the lung, remove phlegm and clear heat.

4. qi and yin deficiency type

dry cough with little sputum, low cough, or sputum with blood, lethargy and fatigue, dry mouth and shortness of breath, sleeplessness, agitation and palpitation, poor body fatigue, red tongue or dry or tender red, dry moss or mossless, pulse is thin. The evidence belongs to deficiency of lung and spleen, and depletion of kidney yin. The treatment is to benefit the qi and nourish the yin, and to support the correctness and remove the accumulation.
