Production technology of solid wood floor
1, material selection and processing
Most logs or plates of solid wood flooring are imported from Southeast Asia, South America, Africa and other places, and it takes at least 3 to 5 months to import a batch of wood. Imported logs should be peeled, sawn, trimmed into standard plates, stacked in layers and staggered, naturally dried, then dried in a kiln, and then balanced.
2. Water content control
Even the imported board has a high moisture content (to prevent the board from cracking), so it has to be stacked in the kiln to dry and then rebalanced. The processing process of reducing the moisture content of the board from 30% ~ 90% to about 15% takes 2 weeks as fast as possible and 3 ~ 4 months as slow as possible, depending on the material type, season, site and process equipment. If it is teak blank, it will be golden and beautiful in sunny days 10 ~ 30 days.
3, mechanical processing
Next is the floor processing technology. The basic process is as follows: slab inspection (measuring moisture content, color separation and classification) → grinding → color separation → repair → grinding → grooving the back → opening the longitudinal groove and tenon.
Due to the natural individual differences of each solid wood floor, the above processes are not suitable for continuous processing on the production line, and they are all intermittent operations. Each plate must pass the targeted appearance and dimensional quality inspection of each process, and the plates that do not meet the standard requirements will be repaired, reworked and degraded. This process takes 2 ~ 3 days.
4. Floor painting process
The basic procedures are as follows: panel repair → soaking anti-crack oil → coloring tenon sealing → sanding → putty filling →UV curing → sanding → priming → dry curing → sealing primer → dry curing → priming →UV curing → sanding → UV curing → UV curing → sanding → priming. Chemistry → polishing → back painting → UV curing → finish painting → painting → UV curing → high performance finish painting → UV curing → color separation and classification → code spraying → packaging → sampling inspection according to standards → qualified products → leaving the factory. This process takes 3 ~ 5 days.
