In northern China, there are about six kinds of jiaozi. Usually hotels calculate the number of jiaozi by the weight of dumpling wrappers, not by the weight of jiaozi. Usually one or two dumpling wrappers can wrap six jiaozi, so one or two jiaozi is about six. You can order jiaozi according to your appetite, and generally three or two is enough.

How much jiaozi a person can eat depends on his age and sex. Generally speaking, a normal adult male can eat 25 jiaozi, while women can eat about 17, children about 10 and the elderly about 15.
