Advantages and disadvantages of inactivated vaccine
Inactivated vaccine is a vaccine that kills all infectious pathogenic microorganisms by physical and chemical methods, making them lose pathogenicity and retain antigenicity. After inoculation, it stimulates the body to produce an immune response against its antigen, thus preventing the infection of pathogenic microorganisms.
Advantages: Inactivated vaccine can't reproduce in vivo, and it won't cause corresponding diseases after inoculation.
Disadvantages: Inactivated vaccine has a large dose and many times, and fever, systemic or local reaction may occur after inoculation. The immune effect of inactivated vaccine will decrease with time, so it is necessary to strengthen vaccination regularly to improve and enhance antibody titer.
