What's the difference between fluorocarbon paint and ordinary paint? What kind of paint is better?

As many people know, the price of fluorocarbon paint is much higher than that of ordinary paint, and there is not much difference between the two spraying areas. So what are the advantages and differences between fluorocarbon paint and ordinary paint?

First, the advantages of fluorocarbon paint compared with ordinary paint:

1, super weather resistance. That is, in the case of outdoor exposure, it can withstand natural erosion such as wind, rain, frost, sun exposure and rain for a long time, and maintain the appearance and performance of the paint film. Ordinary alkyd paint can only be stored outdoors for 1 to two years and needs to be repainted.

2. Anticorrosion, acid rain, cleaning agent, smoke, salt spray and other serious corrosion of steel, and fluorocarbon paint has excellent resistance to these.

3. Fluorocarbon paint with good self-cleaning performance also has self-cleaning effect, and the surface can form lotus leaf effect, thus avoiding dust adhesion and facilitating cleaning.

4. Good mechanical properties. Even if fluorocarbon paint is cured at room temperature, its hardness, wear resistance and impact resistance are better than those of common alkyd enamel and ready mixed paint. Especially after a year of outdoor exposure, the gap between the two is very obvious and can be distinguished by the naked eye.

Second, how to distinguish fluorocarbon paint from ordinary paint:

1, solvent resistance is not good, alkyd thinner can soften alkyd paint, but it has little effect on fluorocarbon paint. (7 days after both were cured);

2, self-cleaning, dust, oil and other poor adhesion to the surface of fluorocarbon paint, easy to clean. This is also the difference between fluorocarbon paint and most paints.
