Zhangbende cemetery
Zhang Ben died in the battlefield, died in Didao (now Lintao, Gansu), was transported back to Hanzhong, and was buried in Baocheng Post, now longjiang town, Hantai District, Hanzhong City. In the 1970s, there were still tall tombs and tombstones rebuilt in the decade of the Republic of China. The tomb was built by villagers, and the foundation of the house was filled with soil. Tombstones were transported to Hanzhong Museum for preservation. When the villagers were digging the foundation of the house, they dug up a brick tomb with fish scales, which was undoubtedly a tomb of Zhang Ben after textual research.
The tomb is 10 meter high and covers an area of 600 square meters. There is a tombstone 80 cm high and 57 cm wide. The inscription reads: "Tomb of Zhang Ben, the general of Dangkou in Han Dynasty." Engraved in 1922.
Zhangben Tomb is now a county-level key cultural relics protection unit, which was announced by the former Hanzhong Municipal People's Government on June 5438+0986+February 15.
