Types and specifications of joinery boards

The size of the joinery board is usually 1220 mm× 2440 mm, but the thickness is not fixed, usually 12 mm, 18 mm and 20 mm. The core material of joinery board is usually wood strips and hollow boards, and then plywood is attached to both sides. After glue pressing, it not only has strong nail grip, but also has low moisture content and relatively simple processing. There are many kinds of joinery boards. The common joinery boards are as follows:

splints

Plywood, also known as plywood, is usually made of three layers or single boards, and its thickness is greater than1mm.

Art cover

Decorative board is usually a decorative material made by planing solid wood board into wood with a thickness of 0.2 mm and then gluing it.

cross band

Blockboard, also known as the big new version, is usually made by pressing two veneers directly, which is relatively cheap and has strong transverse compressive strength, but relatively weak longitudinal compressive strength.

cardboard

Particleboard, generally made of broken wood, is divided into two types: extrusion and flat pressing, which are cheaper.
