Similarities and differences between digital mechanical equipment and traditional mechanical equipment. Please describe it separately.

Digital equipment, also known as mechatronics equipment, refers to the equipment or system that deeply integrates mechanical technology with information technology, mechanical products with electronic information products by introducing information technology and embedding information components such as sensors, integrated circuits and software into traditional mechanical equipment. In essence, digital equipment is an automatic manufacturing equipment driven by data and controlled by software.

Digital devices have many advantages. Compared with non-digital equipment (such as analog equipment), it not only has the advantages of small size, light weight, fast processing speed, strong compatibility, easy maintenance and intelligence, but also opens up a new era of flexible automation of mechanical manufacturing. Its popularization and application will also lead to changes in production mode, management system, product structure and industrial structure.

The application of digital equipment is highlighted in CNC machine tools, robot-based automatic production lines, digital medical imaging equipment and so on.

In traditional mechanical equipment, mechanical transmission (gear, rack, chain, belt) is used to drive the power of the machine, which has very low working efficiency and accuracy and great limitations.
