What's the difference between golden buds and white tea?

Anji golden bud is a kind of green tea, which germinates one week later than Anji white tea, with thin leaves and short buds. In the 1990s, Zhang, the director of a tea farm in Anji County, Zhejiang Province, accidentally discovered Jinya tea. After nearly ten years of breeding, it is the only new yellow tea variety in China. Because golden buds are yellow all year round, dry tea is bright yellow, soup is bright yellow, delicious and expensive as gold. This kind of tea has both ornamental value and utilization value.

Golden buds are yellow all year round, with the phenomenon that "dry tea is bright yellow, soup is bright yellow, and the bottom of leaves is pure yellow", which is as expensive as gold. It is different from "white tea", "yellow tea" or famous green tea, which is white because it is rich in traditional tea in China.

Leaves are golden yellow, light yellow or light yellow. Strictly speaking, this kind of tea can be called "yellow leaf tea". Compared with white tea, this kind of tea is yellow and albino in many seasons, which lasts for a long time and can even remain yellow all year round. Jinya belongs to the yellow family.

Jinya and Anji white tea belong to the tea produced by tea varieties. The reasons for the variation of the two tea varieties are different. Anji white tea is sensitive to low temperature, which leads to chlorophyll loss and whitening. Golden bud is due to the increase of leaf yellowing caused by the synthesis of carrot by photosynthesis.

Highly similar in appearance

Jinya and Anji white tea are both buds and leaves, and their dry tea has a high similarity in appearance. In addition to the dragon-shaped Anji white tea, handmade Anji white tea and golden buds all belong to the phoenix shape, that is, the tail of dry tea is tilted like a phoenix tail, so it is called a phoenix tail shape.

After brewing, the appearance of tea leaves is basically similar, but the size is slightly different. The main difference is in veins. The main vein of Anji white tea has always been green, and the vein is obvious after brewing, while the vein of golden bud is the same color as that of tea, and the overall color is uniform. It is impossible to see the obvious vein without looking carefully. In addition, the yellow color of golden buds at the bottom of leaves is more obvious, and Anji white yellow is a little green.

It is difficult to distinguish aroma from taste.

The dry tea taste of Jinya and Anji White Tea is similar. The aroma of golden buds is softer and more delicate, and the aroma of Anji white tea is relatively high, with orchid fragrance, which is unrecognizable if many tea lovers have not compared it. The taste is fresh with green tea, Anji white is fresher and fresher, and the golden bud is obviously sweet.
