How to make a lion bookmark
How to make a waking lion bookmark is as follows:
1. Choose the desired paper. Choose hard cardstock to support the bookmark, and then choose another pattern or image to paste on it. Feel free to use other paper for collage or choose more than one pattern.
2. Cut the paper. The bookmarks are sized to your liking. Cut hard cardstock into small bookmarks that are only 2.5 millimeters long and don't stick out, or choose to make a traditional bookmark that is 5 to 7.5 millimeters wide. Do not make the bookmark longer than 15 centimeters or the bookmark will stick out from above or below the book.
3. Add details. Use a selection of decorative papers or patterns and cut and paste them onto cardstock. A piece of textured paper or a pattern cut from a magazine can be pasted onto an entire sheet of cardstock to easily add style to a craft.
4. Seal the bookmark. To protect bookmarks from wear and tear or damage, add a protective cover to them. If possible, laminate with a plastic sleeve. You can also put wide packing tape of the same length on both sides of the bookmark to create the same effect. Consider applying a handmade liquid gel similar to epoxy glue to both sides of the bookmark.?
5. Putting the finishing touches. Use a hole punch to make a hole in the top of the bookmark. Cut 15 to 20 centimeters of ribbon and fold in half. Thread the end that forms the loop through the hole in the bookmark, then thread the tail of the other end through the loop and pull tight. Add a variety of ribbons to make your bookmark more textured and colorful.
Beads can be placed on the end of the ribbon to make it even more charming. You can string in a few beads and then knot the ribbon to keep the beads in place. Use a match or lighter to burn the ribbon where it is cut to prevent fraying. The flame melts the plastic and dulls and rounds the end of the ribbon.
