The stage play Impression of Pingtan directed by Yang li Ping was staged at Changxing Grand Theatre. The whole drama is divided into four acts, telling the story of the ancestor Junshan Wang and Pingtan Lan, the daughter of Haitan, meeting and falling in love, pursuing a better life together and resisting foreign invasion together. Show the natural scenery and humanistic customs of Pingtan's original ecology from four aspects: nature, history, humanities and modernity. Taking Pingtan's unique island scenery as the background, it combines folk elements such as drum music, Min dialect, three-prince dance in Taiwan Province Province, rattan card exercise, dragon and lion dance, Mazu belief, etc., and shows the marine ethnic customs from an artistic point of view, showing the spirit of struggle and tolerance of human beings to "live there with the sea". The hero and heroine interpret life with body language, and every subtle movement shows the rhythm of life and conveys the love and beauty between heaven and earth. "Pingtan Image" expresses the soul of local folk customs and the aesthetic feeling that human beings yearn for.
