Hubei is known as a "big opera province", with the Han Opera, Southern Opera, and Hubei Yuexiao belonging to the Pihuang system, the East Road Flower Drums, Tianhe Flower Drums, Xiangyang Flower Drums, Yuan'an Flower Drums, Huangmei Tea Casting Opera, Liangshan Tunes, Violin Opera, and Wenqu in the Flower Drum system.
