During the First World War (1914-1918), an independent discipline system of aerial photogrammetry was formed.

During World War II (193 1- 1945): color photography, infrared photography, radar technology, multispectral photography, scanning technology, vehicles and mapping equipment 1957: The former Soviet Union launched the first artificial earth satellite.

1960s: The United States launched meteorological satellites such as TIROS, ATS and ESSA and manned spacecraft.

1972: the earth resources technology satellite ERTS- 1 (later renamed Landsat- 1) was launched, which has an MSS sensor with a resolution of 79 meters.

1982 Landsat-4 launch, equipped with TM sensor, the resolution is improved to 30 meters.

1986 France launched SPOT- 1, equipped with PAN and XS remote sensors, with a resolution of 10 meter.

1999, the United States introduced IKNOS, and the spatial resolution was improved to 1 meter. In 1950s, a professional flying team was set up for aerial photography and application.
