Can "the most reliable" be used in advertising?
Paragraph 2 of Article 7 of the Advertising Law stipulates that advertisements shall not use absolute terms such as national, superlative and best. Words such as "top", "first" and "most" have the same meanings as the above terms, which are absolute terms and cannot be used as advertising terms.
Relevant penalties Once the administrative department for industry and commerce finds the words "first" and "most" in the advertisement, it will be regarded as false advertisement, violation of the second paragraph of Article 7, unfair competition and other acts. And ordered advertisers to stop publishing, publicly correct and eliminate the influence within the corresponding scope with the same advertising expenses, and impose a fine of more than one time and less than five times the advertising expenses. Advertising agents and publishers who are responsible shall be confiscated of their advertising expenses and fined one to five times of the advertising expenses. If the circumstances are serious, the advertising business shall be stopped according to law. If a crime is constituted, criminal responsibility shall be investigated according to law.
