Where is Changdeokgung Palace in South Korea located now?

Changdeokgung Palace is located east of Gyeongbokgung Palace, so it is called Donggung Palace. Among the palaces of the Joseon Dynasty, it was the palace that the kings used for the longest time.

Compared with other palaces, Changdeokgung Palace is completely preserved and was built to avoid the influence of human factors, thereby achieving perfect integration with the surrounding natural terrain.

The rear garden is particularly famous. It is the only palace rear garden in Korea. It represents the highest level of Korean gardens. Its value has been recognized by the world and was included in the World Cultural Heritage List in 1997.
