The fishing fire on the river boat is more bright and dazzling in the dark spring night. When the poet witnessed this scene, he was happy to think that the delicate, colorful and fragrant flowers blooming at dawn were the result of silent drizzle at night, and Jinguancheng would present colorful and touching spring scenery.

Shen Deqian, a critic of poetry in Qing Dynasty, praised this poem as "the God who sows the spring rain" in his Collection of Tang Poems. Indeed, the poet wrote the inner spirit and soul of the spring rain. Spring rain, considerate and agreeable, falls at the right time, accompanied by a breezy breeze, gently falls from the sky to the uneven land in the dead of night, quietly penetrates into the soil and finally disappears.
