What is the difference between European and American architecture and Chinese architecture

1 Material difference. Traditional Chinese architecture is a wooden frame system, such as: wooden court, imperial palace, etc.; while the traditional Western architecture is based on stone, such as: castles and so on.

2 Different culture. But with the modernization of China, the materials used and the styles of design are now losing our own wooden framework (because of the scarcity of resources of wood; and more so because wood is not safe).

3 The image is different. For example: the West with towering spires to show the sanctity of the inviolable; I while China to arch flying eaves and growing, stark color contrast (red walls and yellow tiles) to highlight the inviolability of the rulers.

4 different functions. Different lifestyles inevitably lead to different architectural functions.

5Different building technology. After all, we are just developing. Architecture is already an ancient discipline in the West.
