What is a traditional enterprise?
Generally speaking, it refers to the method of inheriting history in the production and management of enterprises, such as concept, nature, mode, structure and content. The traditional components are relatively large and the industry and products have a long history.
Different from modern new enterprises, such as network, information, logistics and other industries. However, with the development of society, many traditional enterprises have been and are being transformed into modern enterprises, which has existed since ancient times.
Characteristics of traditional enterprises
First, corporate culture management attaches great importance to the role of people and puts forward the concept that "people are the foundation of enterprise development". First of all, corporate culture management emphasizes caring, respecting and trusting people in production management. Compared with Taylor's traditional management, which regards workers as machine parts, corporate culture management emphasizes the idea of caring, respecting and trusting workers, trying to get rid of the antagonistic situation between enterprises and workers and create a harmonious corporate environment, thus stimulating workers' inherent potential, improving their self-confidence, enhancing their sense of responsibility and serving corporate goals.
Secondly, corporate culture management emphasizes stimulating workers' sense of mission and finding an "inexhaustible source" of spiritual motivation. Because material incentives are external and easy to satisfy, once satisfied, they lose their incentive function. Therefore, corporate culture management puts forward the idea of enhancing employees' sense of mission in order to eliminate the disadvantages brought by traditional material stimulation. It emphasizes that only when employees truly realize the value of their work will they have the spirit of dedication to their work.
The second is to emphasize the role of team spirit under the guidance of the collectivism values of Confucian culture. The Art of Japanese Enterprise Management specifically introduces Japanese enterprise culture management, and holds that Japanese enterprise culture management is different from American enterprise culture management. American corporate culture management is guided by individualistic values and inspires people by mobilizing the enthusiasm of individualism and pursuing personal interests.
Japanese corporate culture management, guided by Confucian cultural values, emphasizes industry serving the country, requires workers to love enterprises and work, put the interests of enterprises at the highest position, requires workers to have a sense of unity with enterprises, and binds workers together through corporate values and missions, changing the traditional practice that workers were regarded as machine accessories and enterprises took profits as the sole goal, and tied people together with rigid systems; It is argued that an enterprise is not only a machine that generates profits, but also a collective of people. Enterprises will not ignore workers, but always consider and care about their interests, thus stimulating workers to work willingly and happily, thus generating more profits.
