How to adjust drift correctly in fishing?

Finding the bottom is an essential step. Never go to the surface to determine the half water depth and adjust the drift. This will be very inaccurate. The way to find the bottom is to pack more lead on the lead base, which can pull the float into the water. The key is to expose the lower grid when looking for the bottom, which has the advantage of ensuring the vertical waterline. If there are many eyes when looking for the bottom, the waterline is easy to tilt.

Step 2: Adjust four eyes.

After finding the bottom, the floating seat is pulled down to about 1.5-2 times the length of the minor line. The advantage of this is that the float can be adjusted at the half water near the actual water depth, or the half water depth is close to the water depth, so that the float can be adjusted more accurately. Especially when using thick mainline, it is more important whether the half water depth is close to the water depth. Trim the lead until the float is 4 meshes above the water. Trimming lead skin is a meticulous work, so you can't trim it slowly in a hurry. When the float sinks slowly, be careful to drop only a little at a time to prevent cutting too much.

Step 3: Weigh the bait.

The third step is to weigh the bait, which is necessary. The purpose of weighing bait is to determine the fishing order. For example, when the double bait is hung up, it floats out of the water for 2 meshes, which means that the weight of the double bait is 2 meshes. If you fish in the bottom, the net must be slightly larger than 2 meshes to ensure that the fish group touches the bottom. So the order of fishing is not arbitrary. For example, if you fish with earthworms, you should adjust the fishing order from four to two. Because the weight of the bait is less than two, this is not true, and it is impossible to catch two. If we want to adjust the four fishing and two fishing, the weight of the double bait should be greater than or equal to 2 meshes, otherwise it will not be established.

Step 4: Catch two eyes.

The following is to determine the fishing eye, also known as accurate bottom finding. The point is to find the bottom with bait. The influence of bait weight on drift adjustment is briefly introduced above. For example, the weight of the bait is 2 meshes, and the fishing bottom is a little more than 2 meshes. It's not enough to bait the bottom. If the weight of bait reaches more than 4 meshes, then catching 2 meshes means that both baits are at the end. Therefore, it is not recommended to use heavy objects for accurate bottom finding, otherwise the lower hook will hang heavy objects, and after bottom finding, double baits will be hung for accurate correction.

Step 5: Find your mouth.

We caught two eyes, one bait to the end and the other bait not to the end. Whether this state is suitable for the fish situation of the day is unknown. Therefore, this kind of fishing is called a preset fishing list, and the final fishing list depends on the fish. When the floating phase is clear and the fish in the rod is lifted, then we call it seeking the mouth. At this time, it may be that the bait is lying on the bottom of the water and the bait touches the bottom of the water. What kind of state is nothing more than dull adjustment. There are many empty rods, which increases the boring feeling of fishing. There are many fish in the bait, so it is better to catch less.

Step 6: Fine-tune

The reason for fine adjustment is that the draft of the fishing group will be more or less, and the weight of the fishing group will change, which will lead to the adjustment of eyes and the change of fishing eyes, and will also affect the fish mouth. For example, we started to catch two nets, one bait touched the bottom and the other bait floated, but the catch rate was not good. We catch fish in three nets, one bait undercover, and the other bait touches the bottom, with the highest rate of catching fish. Finally, we adjust four captures and three captures. When the draft of the fishing group becomes heavier, the original four-eye adjustment may become two-eye adjustment, and the original three-eye fishing will become blind because of the draft of the fishing group. The change of eye adjustment and fishing purpose also affects the state effect of underwater double bait, which leads to the change of fish rate. Therefore, after fishing for a period of time, look at the eye adjustment in the semi-water state, and then trim the lead skin to 4 eyes, so that the drift adjustment is more accurate.
