Instead of using the blackboard, some first graders now use computers for their lessons, is this a good idea? Why?

There's nothing wrong with that. In fact, using computers is a much better way to teach children, more thorough and comprehensive lessons.

Don't think that when you think of computerized teaching, you think that all teaching methods have moved away from the blackboard, and that teachers don't use the blackboard to write on anymore. This is actually a misunderstanding of computerized teaching. Nowadays, high-tech means are getting more and more advanced, and it is possible to combine the computerized teaching method and the traditional blackboard teaching method perfectly.

Our school replaced the new computer teaching technology in October, with the computer in the center and the traditional blackboard on the left and right. This allows teachers to switch back and forth as they need to teach, rather than just using the computer and nothing else.

What's more, it's just as easy to write directly on the computer now as it is on a traditional blackboard. By turning on the write button, teachers don't even need to use chalk anymore, and can write directly on the computer screen with their fingers.

The most acceptable thing about this approach, is that it doesn't produce any more chalk dust, and a computer screen can be used over and over again, without delaying all the teaching work for the children.

First graders, who have a hard time sitting still, learned to write Chinese characters and numbers, which previously required teachers to teach them by hand. The use of computers now helps children learn to write Chinese characters and numbers through animation,which can be viewed over and over again to recognize the structure of the strokes, thus improving the effectiveness of the teaching.

More often than not, the industry is a different place, and you can't jump to conclusions about an industry you don't understand just because you think you do. Sometimes, what you see may not be the truth, and teachers, as professionals, know better how to use this modern means of teaching to help children learn to learn the content of the material.

Parents can be based on the change in teaching methods, also do with the times, more to the teachers, the teachers of the teaching method to learn down, and then taught to the children, through repeated practice, as a way to better help the children to master down.
