How to maintain health

As for cause and effect, the cause of what we do must have its final fruit following closely behind! It is said that if you sow melons, you will get melons, and if you sow beans, you will get beans; it is said that accumulating good will lead to virtue, and accumulating evil will lead to disaster; it is said that thinking good will lead to good, and thinking evil will lead to evil.

Cause and effect is the basic law of the birth, growth, transformation, collection and storage of everything in the universe.

In Buddha:

The law of cause and effect is also the basic law of Buddhism, which advocates that good and evil deeds in this life can cause good and evil consequences in this and future lives to react on oneself. In Buddhism, the practice of the six paramitas of "giving, observing precepts, patience, diligence, meditation, and prajna" are all based on a deep belief in cause and effect.

There is an old saying: "Good deeds will be rewarded with good deeds, and evil deeds will be rewarded with evil deeds. It does not mean that they are not repaid because the time has not come." The concept of cause and effect has long been deeply rooted in traditional Chinese culture, which is based on goodness.

The conscious mind of sentient beings in each life is born and destroyed, but the establishment and operation of the law of cause and effect are based on the fact that the Tathagatagarbha (also known as Alaya Consciousness, True Suchness) is unborn. Immortal, the Prajna mentioned in "Major Prajna, Small Prajna" and "Heart Sutra" are talking about this "Bodhisattva heart, immortal heart" and the heart that has all the "Eight Impartial Paths". He is eternal and immortal. The existence of the true self.

The true meaning of "Bodhisattva Upasaka Precepts Sutra" is that different actions and different feelings are self-made and self-received. This is the meaning. The various precepts imposed by Buddhism are actually the protection given by the World Honored One to all living beings based on his thorough understanding of cause and effect, so that the next life of all living beings will be more perfect.

The emptiness of dependent origination is only a part of the path to liberation, but it is often exaggerated into the true meaning of Buddhism. If you advocate the emptiness of dependent origin, you are actually denying cause and effect, and cause and effect cannot be established. It is also a joke that all living beings can become Buddhas. Such people will talk about emptiness, act in existence, and create all kinds of unwholesome deeds in the name of Buddhism.

The subject of cause and effect, the reality of the middle way, the body of Prajna, True Suchness, Nirvana, and I mentioned in Buddhism are all the same Tathagata Tibetan mind body. All dharma realms are all integrated into the one dharma realm of Tathagatagarbha, which is the central idea of ??Buddhism that "the three realms are based on mind and all dharmas are based on consciousness."

In Dao:

"Lu Zu said the Cause and Effect Sutra of Three Generations" mainly explains: first, people's destiny is created by themselves; second, how to create a good destiny for oneself; third, The law of cause and effect cycle of doing good and accumulating virtue and doing evil and doing bad things. Karma refers to the causes and results of things, what you sow will bring you what you will get.

There are three types of karma: immediate retribution, the retribution of good and evil deeds, and the retribution of suffering and happiness; retribution, the retribution of deeds in the previous life in this life, or the retribution of deeds in this life in the next life; quick retribution, the retribution of deeds in front of you, Now you are being rewarded.

Causation, in Buddhism, is the theory of karma and karma. Causes and effects come and go, which is called karma and retribution. Cause and effect connects the past, present and future, which is called "cause and effect in three generations".

If we understand that cause and effect are the reality, it is called a deep belief in cause and effect. That is to say, everything arises from causes and conditions, and if there is a cause, there must be an effect. When we sow good causes, good rewards may not occur immediately. Only when fate arrives (karma matures) can we (and will definitely) get the results of good rewards. On the contrary, the bad karma you do will only have bad consequences when the conditions are ripe. Therefore, the sutra says: If after a hundred kalpas, the deeds are not destroyed, and when the causes and conditions meet, the retribution will be repaid to oneself.

For example, farmers planting fruit trees, etc., if they have proper management such as fertilizing, weeding, irrigating, pruning off miscellaneous and diseased branches, etc., they will have a relatively rich harvest the next year; fertilizing, weeding, irrigating, pruning, etc. Stray branches, diseased branches, etc. are good causes for crops to bear fruit, and relatively abundant harvests are good fruits.

In Confucianism:

There is a teaching that "a house that accumulates good deeds will always be blessed, and a house that accumulates evil will inevitably have lingering disasters", which expresses the law of cause and effect and the human nature of retribution. Iron law.

The cause of fear of Bodhisattva:

Bodhisattva is the abbreviation of "Bodhisattva". Bodhisattva, Sanskrit bodhi-sattva, Pali bodhi-satta. Also known as: Bodhisattva, Maodisattva, or Fusattva. Free translation: Tao sentient beings, enlightened sentient beings, great awakened sentient beings, Tao-minded sentient beings. It means people who seek the Tao and great enlightenment, people who seek the Tao with a great heart.

Bodhi means enlightenment, wisdom, and Tao; Sattva means all living beings and sentient beings. Together with the Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, they are called the Three Vehicles. It is also one of the ten realms. That means those who seek supreme Bodhi with wisdom, transform all sentient beings with compassion, practice paramita practices, and achieve Buddhahood in the future. That is to say, those who are perfect in self-interest and altruism, and bravely seek Bodhi.

The Bodhisattva is also the successor to the throne of Buddha, so he is also called the "Prince of Dharma". The transliteration of this word is "Kumaro Buddha", and the free translation is also called "Tongzhen".

Bodhisattvas already clearly believe in the law of endless reincarnation and endless retribution in cause and effect. Therefore, every thought in your heart is for good, and you are afraid of the consequences of bad karma. Take care of yourself and be careful from the beginning. Since there is no evil cause, how can there be any evil consequences? Even if there are bad consequences, they are all caused by long-term causes. Since they are planted by previous causes, the consequences cannot be escaped. Therefore, when you feel the consequences, you can accept them calmly and without flinching. This is called understanding the cause and effect.

Ordinary people are afraid of consequences:

Ordinary people are afraid of all the consequences that have already appeared, but they don’t know that these consequences are all caused by evil causes created in the past, which are ordinary or random consequences over many lifetimes. Made to fulfill a moment's wishes and seek momentary happiness. But they don’t know that happiness is the cause of suffering, and suffering is the fruit of happiness. It is not fake and artificial, but follows everything like a shadow. Suffering is an ordinary person! Ordinary people are miserable!

Exactly:

The Bodhisattva who understands the cause and effect is happy and does not know the cause and effect of the Buddha;

Be careful to protect yourself when wrong thoughts arise, and accept all situations with peace of mind. .

Ordinary people don’t know the cause, and they dare to do evil things;

The results will appear and sink into the sea of ??suffering, but when they turn back, they will reach the gate of bliss!
