Yang's 85-Style Taijiquan is a school of Taijiquan. This school of taijiquan was created by Yang Lu Chan (1799-1872), a native of Yongnian, Hebei Province, and his son Yang Jianhou (1839-1917), and his grandson Yang Chengfu (1883-1936), who developed it on the basis of Chen-style Laojia taijiquan. Yang Style Taijiquan 85 style has a concise frame, a strict structure, a neutral stance, a smooth movement, and a combination of lightness and composure; it is practiced from loose to soft, and the rigidity and flexibility are in harmony with each other, thus forming a unique style.
