The more expensive you have to buy a 4K projector, the better it is? Not necessarily! I bought two projectors to do a comparison!

The first contact with digital products, always unconsciously attracted by some of the so-called "super experience" products. But after a few years of social poisoning only to find that these so-called "over-the-top experience" is actually only some features can be realized over-the-top experience, but the overall product quality is still not able to spell the real "over-the-top" products. Although some products do achieve a "superior experience", such as the familiar millet first-generation cell phone. However, these "superlative experience" products are often rare, the average user is more difficult to find.

As a senior user of the projector, in the past two years, we have used dozens of different models of projectors, and the more we experience, the more we feel the performance of the current projector products on the powerful. Now many projector manufacturers are very willing to use some of the past only in the high-end machine technology, decentralized to low-end products. Even the average user can have a better audiovisual experience.

The Upi PX701-4K, which we experienced a few days ago, has recently launched an upgraded version, the Upi PX701-4K Pro. The upgraded Upi PX701-4K Pro not only improves on brightness, but also configures a 1.13-1.47 throw ratio and a 1.3x high-quality, lossless optics. With a 1.13-1.47 throw ratio and a 1.3x high-quality lossless optical zoom glass lens, it is possible to project a 100-inch image from 2.5 meters, so users' audiovisual enjoyment gets a lot of enhancement.

In order to make a comparison, I bought another BenQ TK700ST projector, which is a BenQ projector priced at 1W. In terms of performance parameters, it is similar to the Upi PX701-4K PRO, and it is really appropriate to make a comparison.

Upi PX701-4K Pro in the appearance of the last generation of pure white shell design, I think the next generation of products can consider upgrading the mold, after all, the appearance of the watch are several generations, it is time to change a cooler.

The regular buttons are set on the top of the body, and when placed flat on a table, they are quite smooth to operate. If you're hanging it, it's best to use a remote control, as few people want to climb up and down to operate a projector.

The back of the machine is the I/O ports, including two HDMI ports that support HDCP2.2, RS232 port, 3.5mm audio output port, and a debug USB port that provides 5V1.5A power output.

The gold rim next to the lens makes the whole machine look more upscale, and there is a color scheme called "Touhou Jin", which is a 4K high-level special optical glass lens that has excellent light transmission and can effectively reduce chromatic aberration to bring a better viewing experience.

The Ubi PX701-4K Pro does not have a lens cap, but rather a curved dust cover design, which protects the lens from dust falling directly on the lens glass when it is mounted.

The Ubi PX701-4K Pro is a projector that uses a traditional light source, so zooming and focusing need to be done manually. First-time users may not quite understand, in fact, it is through the focus ring and zoom ring on the projector, so that the image projected onto the curtain without distortion can be. PX701-4K Pro can achieve 1.3 times large zoom, 2.5 meters can be projected on a large screen of 100 inches.

Compared to the projector with LED light source, the projector with traditional light source is a bit brighter and has a lot more heat. The Ubiquiti PX701-4K PRO is equipped with a large dual-side cooling grille, which allows the machine's internal heat to be drained away in a timely manner at extreme speeds, ensuring that the machine is able to function properly to keep the internal temperature at a reasonable state.

Comparing the two models, the Upi PX701-4K Pro and the BenQ TK700ST, they are basically identical except for the difference in lenses. If you don't look at the logos, you can't really tell which is which.

The Ubi PX701-4K Pro settings interface is rich in options, and the average user can basically just use the default settings. If you have a preference for color temperature, you can adjust the "Color Temperature" option to lower the parameter to make the screen warmer, and vice versa to raise the parameter to make the screen cooler. Family environment, the color mode selection "standard" can be. It is also worth mentioning that the Ubi PX701-4K Pro has built-in Auto Vertical Keystone technology, which eliminates the need for any manual adjustments, and automatically adjusts when the system is turned on.

Comparison of different color temperatures on the Ubiquiti PX701-4K Pro, you can see that a low color temperature makes the screen warmer, and a high color temperature makes the screen colder. 7500K is a compromise, not too cold and not too warm.

The first thing to compare is the resolution power of the two. The test chart uses a 4K TV resolution test chart made by Mr. Qian, which allows users to visualize the resolution capability of the projector. Because of the reduced precision of the uploaded images, here is a partially enlarged comparison chart for you to see.

Zooming out to pixel-level comparisons of the two, it's worth recognizing that both projectors are great. Among them, the Ubisoft PX701-4K Pro has a slightly sharper pixel point compared to the BenQ TK700ST. But in real-world viewing, such a tiny difference is almost negligible.

Well, let's take a look at the actual movie watching comparison.

The static picture appreciation, selected a few pictures to do a comparison.

The effect of how, you see the officer to judge for themselves ~~~~ For me personally, the Ubiquitous is more suitable for me.

The two projectors in the comparison test both have very high lumen brightness, the Upi PX701-4K Pro is 3600 lumens, while the BenQ TK700ST is 3000 lumens, in a strong light environment, both can show the projected content relatively well.

PS5 does not need me to do too much explaining, everyone knows. The national line is too difficult to grab, had to curve to save the country to buy other versions of PlayStation 5. PlayStation 5 support 4K resolution, support for HDR, the highest frame rate of up to 120, used to test these two projectors is very suitable. Both the Ubi PX701-4K Pro and the BenQ TK700ST have 240Hz refresh rates and ultra-low latency, making them ideal for use with the PlayStation 5.

One thing is that after uploading the video as a motion picture, the accuracy is lost a lot, so just take a look at it, and let's talk about my experience - both projectors play games on the PlayStation 5, and there is no noticeable delay. Whether it's tearing apart undead warriors in God of War 4, fighting Valkyries for 300 rounds, or hunting mechanical beasts in Horizon: Zero Dawn, the projection effect of the two projectors is excellent.

Let's start with the Ubiquiti PX701-4K Pro. Compared to its predecessor, the Ubiquiti PX701-4K Pro's upgrades are actually quite large, with brightness upgraded from 3200 ANSI lumens to 3600 ANSI lumens, and the lens upgraded from a 1.1x zoom to a 1.3x large zoom, which allows for a 100-inch screen to be projected at a distance of 2.5 meters. The contrast ratio has been upgraded from 12,000:1 to 20,000:1, and with the newly designed 4K platform architecture, the projection performance of the whole machine has been improved a lot. Of course, the price has also gone up to some extent.

As for the BenQ TK700ST, the BenQ TK700ST has a brightness of 3000 ANSI lumens, a contrast ratio of 10000:1, and a lens zoom of 1.2x.

In terms of parameters, the Ubiquiti PX701-4K Pro is significantly better than the BenQ TK700ST, and in terms of price, the BenQ TK700ST is priced at nearly 1W, while the Ubiquiti PX701-4K Pro can be purchased for only about 7K. Under the premise of better performance at a better price, it is undoubtedly more worthwhile to get Ubiquiti PX701-4K Pro, according to the family's golden projection ratio, 2.5 meters projection 100 inches is the best. As for BenQ TK700ST, it is more suitable for users with relatively mini living room environment to buy, after all, 2 meters of projection ratio for renters, it is still quite attractive.

In addition, both projectors have gaming attributes - ultra-low latency and high refresh rate (both projectors support 240Hz refresh rate), so players who like to play games with external game consoles no longer need to worry about playing games and changing the projection device.
