New traffic regulations (latest full text in 22)

On April 1, 216, the Ministry of Public Security announced the latest revised Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driving Licenses, and the new traffic rules tightened the management of drivers. The latest traffic laws and regulations are also stricter. The traffic violation score for running a red light will be increased from 3 points to 6 points, and 12 points will be deducted for not registering the license plate or blocking the license plate once.

1. If a motor vehicle driver commits one of the following illegal acts, 12 points will be scored at a time:

(1) Driving a motor vehicle that does not conform to the permitted driving type;

(2) driving a motor vehicle after drinking;

(3) driving passenger cars (excluding buses) or school buses carrying more than 2% of the approved number of people;

(4) causing escape after a traffic accident, which does not constitute a crime;

(5) The motor vehicle driving on the road fails to hang the motor vehicle number plate, or intentionally blocks, defiles or fails to install the motor vehicle number plate as required;

(6) using forged or altered motor vehicle number plates, driving licenses, driving licenses, school bus signs or using other motor vehicle number plates and driving licenses;

(7) driving a motor vehicle to reverse, reverse, and make a U-turn across the central divider on the expressway;

(8) driving an operating bus to stop in the expressway lane;
