Yang Gong Avoid the Sun, also known as Thirteen Taboos of Yang Gong, is said to have been written by Yang Junsong, a geomantic master in Tang Dynasty, according to the order of "Twenty-eight Stars". Thirteen "taboo days" are January 13th, February 11th, March 9th, April 7th, May 5th, June 3rd, July 1st, July 9th, August 27th, September 25th, October 23rd, November 21st and December 19th.
"Thirteen Taboos of Yang Gong" has been valued by Xuankong since ancient times. In Xuankong's eyes, these thirteen days can never be chosen as opening, construction, marriage, signing contracts and so on.
