April 5th is a traditional festival in China-Tomb-Sweeping Day. On this day in Tomb-Sweeping Day, people will go to the graves of their deceased relatives, place offerings, burn paper money and pay homage to their ancestors and relatives.

On April 5th, I also took part in activities to pay homage to my loved ones. Grandpa died in 2009, and grandma died on 20 10. Grandparents' graves are in the southernmost part of their hometown village, about 2 kilometers away from the village. Early in the morning, our family prepared sacrifices and paper money for the grave. I helped the adults with this and that, loaded the car, and the car bumped all the way. In the distance, there are groups of three and five people, some on the road, some bowing to their relatives, and the smoke of firewood and paper money is everywhere around the cemetery. In a short time, our family arrived at the graves of grandparents. According to the traditional custom, uncle lit firewood, let all the people who went kneel in front of grandparents' graves, and each person divided a pile of paper money to burn, mumbling, and put the paper money in his hand into the fire one by one, which was blown around by the wind. It seems that grandparents are around us. With deep feelings, everyone reluctantly went home.

Through this activity, I learned about this festival. Tomb-Sweeping Day is a festival to honor ancestors and cherish the memory of deceased relatives.
