What are the three principles of fire fighting?

1, cooling and fire extinguishing: for general combustible fires, the combustion reaction will stop when the combustible material is cooled below its ignition point or flash point. The fire extinguishing mechanism of water is mainly cooling.

2. Asphyxiation fire extinguishing: By reducing the oxygen concentration around the combustion products, it can play the role of fire extinguishing. The commonly used fire extinguishing mechanisms such as carbon dioxide, nitrogen and steam are mainly suffocating.

3. Isolation and fire extinguishing: the combustible substance is isolated from the fire source or oxygen, and the combustion reaction will automatically stop.
