As we all know, there are many festivals, including traditional folk festivals such as Spring Festival, Tomb-Sweeping Day, Dragon Boat Festival and Mid-Autumn Festival, modern international festivals such as Women's Day, Children's Day and Labor Day, and some special festivals such as National Day, Teacher's Day and Arbor Day. But my favorite festival is Dragon Boat Festival! Because on that Dragon Boat Festival, I learned to make zongzi by hand.

I remember last Dragon Boat Festival, my mother and I went to my grandmother's house to make zongzi. I saw grandma and mom wash their hands with water first. Each of them picked out two rice leaves that had already been prepared, and then made a funnel out of them (but the bottom was sealed). Then they put the soaked rice in a funnel made of rice leaves, put some water in it, and put a red date in it. Finally, they wrapped the mouth of the "funnel" tightly with rice leaves and then wrapped it with thread. I looked at it, and suddenly I thought it was fun to pack jiaozi, so I said, "Hey, Mom! I also pack a zongzi! " My mother nodded and gave me two zongzi leaves to teach me how to make zongzi. I learned what they look like: nest funnel, put rice, put dates, put a little water and seal. But jiaozi wrapped by adults is extremely full, and I am skinny. I asked my mother what was going on. Mom smiled after checking, let me see for myself. I watched and dismantled, dismantled and watched, dismantled and done, dismantled and dismantled. After many times, I finally found that the funnel under the zongzi I wrapped was not sealed properly, and there was a hole missing. It turns out that when I was in the nest, I wasn't as careful as an adult, and I didn't check whether there were any loopholes, which made a big joke. You should be careful in everything you do, don't follow in my footsteps!

This year's Dragon Boat Festival is coming, and I am looking forward to showing my skills. I like making zongzi, and I prefer Dragon Boat Festival!
