What is a product

A product is anything that can be offered to the market, used and consumed by people, and satisfies some need of the people, including tangible objects, intangible services, organizations, ideas, or a combination of them.

The product concept is essentially that the product is sold to the consumer is what the point of interest, that is, to meet the consumer is what the point of need. Any product has its own reasons for being in the marketplace, and these reasons are because there is some consumer demand for the benefits of that product.

Usually a complete product concept consists of four parts:

1. Consumer Insight: presents the relevant issues from the consumer's point of view that are of concern to his or her heart;

2. Benefit Promise: describes what benefits the product provides to the consumer;

3. Supporting Points: explains what features of the product are how to solve the problems presented in the consumer insight;

4. Summary: expresses the essence of the three points in general terms (preferably in one sentence).
