Introduction to Yoga - Yoga Asana (Why Morning Practice is Important)

Worship Poses

Worship Poses is a series of yoga asanas performed with gratitude to the sun in a coherent and fluid manner. It is derived from a series of movements of worship to the rising sun. The sun symbolizes spiritual consciousness, and in ancient times it was worshiped daily. The form of sun worship began in ancient times, when mankind was just becoming aware of its own spiritual power and that of the universe. This realization is the foundation of yoga. Greetings to the Sun are offered in appreciation of the light and warmth it brings, the vitality it brings to nature, and the impact it has on our lives.

Baiyaji consists of a combination of successive sets of asanas, each of which can be deepened through constant practice. Many yoga practitioners warm up with Baijiyasana, and doing it once after waking up early in the morning can awaken the body.

Our brains "set" the length of our muscles based on different activities in our daily lives. Sitting in a chair or riding a bike sends signals to the brain, which then orders us to flex our hips to set the length of our muscles. Continued practice of yoga lengthens muscles, improves range of motion throughout the body, and allows the brain to reset the "new" muscle length. When I sleep, my muscles shorten, which is why I wake up stiff in the morning. Baiyaji is like a stretching exercise for different parts of the body, and by doing this type of stretching you can get back the length of the muscles that your brain reset the last time you practiced it.

When you practice, your body heats up, your body temperature rises, and the blood vessels on the surface of your skin dilate. The dilation of blood vessels and sweating are designed to expel heat from the body and regulate the body's temperature. In addition, sweating removes toxins from the body.

Rising body temperature promotes blood flow to the muscles, making tendons and ligaments more supple. The synovial fluid that circulates in the joint cavities carries nutrients to the joint cartilage and removes waste products from inside the cartilage.

Bhaji alternately contracts and relaxes muscle groups, which also pressurizes blood to return to the heart. When the ventricles are optimally filled, blood output from the arteries increases. As a result, more blood is circulated to the body's organs, while sweat increases, helping the body flush out more toxins.

Baiji-style is neither purely a physical nor a mental exercise, but a combination of both. This enhances the whole human personality and almost every part of the body is fully practiced. It is also suitable for people of all ages to practice, whether they are young, adult or elderly.
