Architectural Pattern of Yuan Jun Temple in Bi Xia
Inside the temple, there are four partition brackets on the column. There is a stone altar with a lotus pattern on the back between the main hall and the west hall: the main hall is equipped with a woodcarving shrine dedicated to the bronze statue of Yuan Jun, with bronze statues of Yuanjing and Er Shen on both sides; There is a bronze statue of a dignified grandmother and two handmaids in the east, and a bronze statue of an empress and two handmaids in the west. The main hall is hung with the giant tablet "Fu Sui Yu Hai" of Emperor Kangxi.
The temple takes Zhaobi, Huochi, Nanshenmen, Dashanmen, Xiangting and Hall as the central axis, and is divided into East-West Shenmen, Bell and Drum Tower, Imperial Monument Pavilion and East-West Attached Hall. Rigorous structure, compact layout, 76.4 meters long from north to south, 39 meters wide from east to west, with a total area of 2979.6 square meters.
Zhaobi and Huochi are outside Shennan Gate. The lower part of the zhaobi is made of stone, the upper part is a five-ridged wall, and the north side is inlaid with four stone slabs. The door is 2.7 meters wide, 5.26 meters deep and 2.73 meters high. Everything has a small room, and the door is opposite. There are three song and dance buildings in the gate, which are 9.79 meters wide, 4.95 meters deep and 4.9 meters high. Six beams, two columns and six purlins were erected, and the shed rested on the top of the mountain. There are two arched doors on the east and west peaks, and there is no wall in the north. Eaves, purlins, pads, etc. It was drawn with ink lines and gold dots.
The West Shenmen Gate is connected with Tianjie, and the East Shenmen Gate is connected with the winding road leading to the Jade Emperor's Peak. The two doors are the same, both stone arches, 3.4 meters high, 3.25 meters wide and 5.4 meters deep. There are three attics, each 8.8 meters wide, 3.5 meters deep and 4.9 meters high. Erect two columns, six purlins and six beams, erect lifting beams, roll up the shed and rest at the top of the mountain, and paint small gold with ink lines.
There is a small room facing north between the three sacred doors, and a stone is laid on the top to connect the east and west attics with the song and dance building, as well as the stone steps.
The Bell and Drum Tower is located in the north of the East and West Attics in front of Dashan Gate, with a width of 5.4 meters and a height of 7.38 meters. It rests on the top of the mountain, with five ridges with square double eaves, gray tiles and four pillars of the building, and four boards are nailed between the upper and lower floors. Erect corner beams, corner beams, gold fang, etc. A round beam is placed horizontally on the gold Fang to hang a bronze bell with a button mouth. Ink lines and small gold paintings.
There are five dashanmen gates, with width 19.8m, depth1.2m and height 12. 15m, with seven beams and five columns and nine purlins, front and rear corridors of central columns, heavy beam lifts, nine ridges resting on the top of the mountain, and wawa.
There are three doors under the pillar in the main room, and a circular arch window is built under the eaves, with four bronze statues of Qinglong, Baihu, Wen Qu and Wu Quxing Jun built in. Bucket arch is applied under the eaves, and the stigma family is a single row of double-order seven-order bucket arch; There are four stilts in each room of the flat body department, which is also a single rafter, two steps and seven steps bucket arch. The cornice of the bucket arch, railings, mats, railings and sparrows are all painted with ink lines.
The East-West Royal Monument Pavilion on both sides of Dashanmen is square, 6.2 meters wide and 7.9 meters high. Four columns, nine ridges and double eaves, covered with yellow glazed tiles. Arch a bucket under the eaves, and a bucket of two liters will be too numb. Build walls around the lower floors. Both pavilions have a south gate and a courtyard gate. On the purlin of the bucket arch, a big gold painting with ink lines was painted. There is a collection of poems by Qianlong Deng Dai of white marble in the pavilion.
There are three halls in the east and west, each with a width of 13m, a depth of 7.7m and a height of 8.4m, with four columns and five beams, seven purlins in the front and rear corridors, heavy beams and five ridges on the top of the mountain. A bucket arch is built under the eaves, and the stigma family steps on it three times. Bucket arch beam (grasshopper head shape) is a flat body, with one foot and three steps. The bucket arch is supported by six independent parts, and the purlin bucket arch is decorated with ink lines and daikin paintings. The East Attached Hall provides the bronze statues of Granny Yan and Ershitong, while the West Attached Hall provides the bronze statues of Shengniangniang and Ershitong. The tiles, pipe tiles, ridges, kisses, hooks, dripping water and animals on the tile surface are all made of iron.
Xiangting was the place where the Golden Que was cast during the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty, and the Golden Que moved to the mountain later. The pavilion has an octagonal roof with a bronze statue of Yuan Jun inside. There are copper plaques on both sides of the pavilion: in the east, there is an inscription on the fairy golden que of Mount Tai during the Wanli period of Ming Dynasty; To the west is an inscription on the construction of Mount Taishan Lingyou Palace during the Apocalypse. In front of the pavilion, there is a bronze tripod cast in Jiajing and Wanli periods of Ming Dynasty and a longevity building. Xiangting, in the front yard of the main hall, is square, 5.8 meters wide and 8.3 meters high. There are four-way columns, circumferential corner columns and auxiliary corner columns in the museum, *** 12, forming a lower ring corridor. A bucket arch is placed on the column, and two Cimicifuga leaves are crossed in a bucket of stigma, with eight pieces on each side of the flat net worth, and two liters of grasshopper heads are crossed in a bucket. At the next higher level, the stigma family has six arches, two liters, three steps and one bucket, and three liters. The yellow glazed tile with nine ridges and double eaves rests on the top of the mountain. There is a shrine dedicated to the bronze statue of Bi Xia Yuan Jun in the pavilion.
In the southeast and southwest of the courtyard, there is a royal tablet pavilion, including a poem tablet by Qianlong Deng Dai.
To the east of the temple is the Taoist temple. In the Ming Dynasty, the East House was set up, and the chief inspector of incense tax was stationed. In the Qing dynasty, it was changed to a pavilion. There are more than 30 monks and nuns in Bi Xia Temple today.
To the south of the courtyard is Baoling, where there are giant stone lions, commonly known as Lion Peak.
