Through the brief analysis of the assembly stage, disassembly stage and recycling stage of industrial products, it is shown that adopting assembly design and disassembly design in product development and design stage has important ecological significance for simplifying production technology, saving product cost, maintaining and recycling products. At the same time, this paper briefly introduces the origin and development of detachable furniture, analyzes the main problems existing in the design of detachable performance of furniture and some misunderstandings of detachable furniture, and puts forward some suggestions to improve the ecological level of modern furniture through detachable design, so as to improve the competitiveness of products.
