August 15th of the lunar calendar is the traditional Mid-Autumn Festival in China with a long history.
In ancient times, in the middle of August of the lunar calendar, people held a series of ceremonies and celebrations to thank the gods for their protection. Some "WU GANG Ghosts" put fruit and cakes to celebrate the moon, while others sing and dance to celebrate the festival. In ancient times, there were a series of myths, such as "the Goddess Chang'e flying to the moon" and "Tang Mingguan traveled to the moon", which endowed the Moon Palace with gorgeous aura and romantic color. In the early years of the Tang Dynasty, the Mid-Autumn Festival has become an inherent festival in China.
In modern times, Mid-Autumn Festival is still handed down. On the night of Mid-Autumn Festival, we will get together to enjoy the moon and eat moon cakes, which means reunion and happiness. There are many traditional festivals in China, and each festival has its own way of celebration, such as giving lucky money to elders in the Spring Festival, wrapping jiaozi in the Dragon Boat Festival and eating moon cakes in the Mid-Autumn Festival ... Every festival makes people very happy.

In the past two weeks, I have collected a lot of information about the traditional culture of China. There are couplets, Chinese zodiac signs, paper-cuts, pictures and words of traditional festivals in China, etc. Among them, I like the information of traditional festivals best, because I am very interested in traditional festivals.
Among the traditional festivals I am interested in, I like the Spring Festival best, because it is the largest traditional festival among the people of China. The first day of the first lunar month is also called "Lunar New Year", commonly known as "Chinese New Year" and "Chinese New Year". During the Spring Festival every year, the streets are covered with red lanterns and flying colorful flags. Mother cooked a hearty dinner, and firecrackers came from time to time outside.
Every child is wearing beautiful new clothes, and the adults are smiling. Dad bought me a lot of fireworks. In the evening, I took out fireworks and went out to play with the children. We had a good time. It was not until the Spring Festival party began that I reluctantly went home, ate fruit with my family and watched the party. The wonderful program made us laugh.
I like the Double Ninth Festival, too. The ninth day of the ninth lunar month is an ancient festival in China. Double Ninth Festival is also called "Festival for the Elderly". After school that day, my parents and I prepared gifts to visit my grandfather. I am very happy. Because I know that respecting the old and loving the young is the traditional virtue of our Chinese nation.
The traditional festivals in China are really colorful. They are the traditional culture of China. The traditional festivals I know are Lantern Festival, Tomb-Sweeping Day, Dragon Boat Festival, China Valentine's Day, Mid-Autumn Festival and so on. These traditional festivals also bring us joy and happiness, so we should remember these festivals and pass them on forever. China's traditional culture is splendid. As a new generation, we should strengthen our study and vigorously carry forward Japanese traditional culture.
