What is brazing?
When brazing, the oxide film and oil stain on the contact surface of the base metal should be removed first, so as to facilitate the capillary function after the solder is melted and increase the wettability and capillary fluidity of the solder. According to the different melting point of solder, brazing can be divided into brazing and soldering.
Metal welding is divided into fusion welding and brazing.
When welding, the materials to be welded, including welding wire, melt and solidify, so that the two materials are integrated. Common electric welding, gas welding and argon arc welding belong to fusion welding.
During brazing, the welded metal does not melt, but the welding material (welding wire) melts and adheres to the welded material closely, and is connected by the force between the atoms of the two materials. Common soldering, brazing and lead lining all belong to brazing.
