Basic requirements of harmonious Tai Ji Chuan

1, correct posture

To practice harmonious Tai Ji Chuan, we should first start with standing piles, so we should know the postures of all parts of the body.

After laying a good foundation for piling and stepping, you can further learn the fixed-step split boxing (not according to the steps), and then practice the fixed-step split boxing according to the fixed-step rules.

We must make every posture move from static to routine, conform to the law everywhere, and arrange the three parts of the whole body in harmony, so we can't rush into it.

When practicing, no matter which part of your body, you should stand upright.

2, neat movements

The important thing is that the hands and feet go in and out together, and the boxing and footwork go hand in hand. According to the harmony theory of Taiji Chuan, when the mind is angry, all the limbs will move. "If the hands and feet can be consistent, not only the movements are accurate, but also the whole body is completely unified.

In order to make your hands and feet land together, you can make a sound when your feet land, combined with the strength of your upper limbs. When shaking the ground, keep your feet close to the ground, step forward (or backward), fall down, and don't intentionally lift your feet and stamp the ground.

After the initial foundation is laid, you can gradually form a kind of dark energy, and your feet will be silent or microstrip when landing, further achieving overall coordination.

Step 3 advance and retreat freely

As Tai Ji Chuan's style is ever-changing, we should know how to achieve mastery in practice.

When practicing, you should not only keep your hands and feet clean, but also advance and retreat freely, and all parts of your body are in harmony.

Only when the movement route, direction and time of all parts of the body, as well as the angle and position of the formula are properly arranged, will there be no posture dislocation, stiff movements, nervous breathing, unstable formula and so on.

For example, cannon boxing, boxing and the previous step overlap, but the front foot is too outward or inward, which will make the waist and buttocks bend, the body tense and the center of gravity unstable.

If the back hand is held too high and too biased, it will also cause the back shoulder to rise and the upper body to tilt. Poor hands and feet will inevitably cause difficulty breathing. The boxing proverb says, "The outside is not smooth, but the inside is not smooth." That's the truth.

Therefore, from the beginning, we should pay attention to coordination and harmony, three-point pair, four-point pair, combination of up and down, distinguish between reality and reality, and be impartial. This way boxing will be natural and smooth.

4. Balance and stability

Tai Ji Chuan is quick, powerful and clear. "the momentum is like a wall, and the ground is like a rooted tree." We should attach great importance to balance and stability in practice. Stability is gradually improved with the enhancement of technical proficiency and physical fitness.

In the basic stage, we should consciously cultivate the strength of lower limbs and the flexibility of waist and legs, and consolidate the basic movements and essentials repeatedly. In particular, we should gain a firm foothold in Gong Zhuang, so as to have a solid foundation and good momentum.

When playing five elements boxing, the posture should be consistent with the height, and it is not allowed to go up and down. Advance and retreat moderately, and strive to be light and steady.

When practicing the Twelve-Shaped Boxing, it is necessary to "move like the wind and be as steady as nails" when stretching vertically and horizontally, and the lower body should not be swayed and scattered.

5, full of strength-Tai Ji Chuan's first practice, boxing is important, the steps should be steady, the feet should be solid, the hair should be fast, full of strength.

So that the muscles of the whole body can be exercised in mutual friction and struggle. When the lower limbs move forward, the front foot should be close to the ground, go straight ahead as far as possible, and the back foot should be pushed back with all its strength, so that the message that "stepping on the door can't fail" depends entirely on the back foot.

In the upper limb movement, if the front fist rotates outward (horizontal force), the back fist will rotate inward; Left fist up, right fist down (stamina), both hands should compete for balance and pull out, echoing each other.

The two forearms should rotate inside and outside, just like twisting a rope, throwing it out and turning it over, twisting it into a ball and winding it into a ball. Keep your arms close to your body. "Don't leave your elbows on your ribs, don't centrifuge your hands, and carry them with you when you go out of the hole", which is completely in harmony with the strength of your body.

6, Jin Ming, that is, the power of boxing.

Those who become bones are the way to transform qi into bones. Tao was invented because the innate qi and acquired qi in human body are not harmonious and the constitution is not strong. After Mu Wang expanded the meaning of the two meridians, as the three meridians, it changed the bones, tendons and marrow.
