What is the origin of Peking Opera?
Beijing opera originated from four local operas: one is Anhui opera, which was first popular in Anhui province; Second, Han opera is popular in Hubei; The third is Kunqu Opera, which is popular in Jiangsu. Fourthly, Shaanxi Opera, also known as Bangzi, is popular in Shaanxi.
