How is honey formed?
The formation process of honey: after bees go out to look for flowers and nectar, they suck the nectar into the honey bag in their bodies with a long kiss like a water pump. When the honey bag is full, the bees fly back to the hive, spit the nectar in the honey bag in the hive, and then the backstage bees in the hive brew for the next time.
By constantly flapping their wings and dancing their bodies, bees in the background volatilize the excess water in nectar by physical methods, so that the water content is reduced from about 60% to below 18%, forming a high-concentration honey solution.
In addition, bees also secrete digestive enzymes, which reduce the original sucrose content to below 5%, while the converted glucose and fructose content reach 65%~80%. It usually takes 7~ 15 days for bees to brew thin nectar into sealed mature honey.
